Director Trey Huguley
Trey Huguley is an award winning filmmaker from the heart of Texas with predilections for offbeat, humorous, and absurd alternate realities.
From an early age, Trey was rarely found without his VHS deck and camera in-tow attempting to remake his favorite childhood films. As formats evolved and the landscaped changed, Trey always maintained his love for telling stories through moving image - and he continued to evolve with it.
As a founding member of Slash Consortium, a collective for like-minded artists in Texas, Trey continues to share his love of story telling through film with fellow filmmakers T.E. Sanders and Garrett Hargrove. Since starting Slash Consortium in 2011, the S/C gang have created a number of shorts (including "17 Minutes in Texas: the Zombie Apocalypse") as well as completed their first independent comedy feature "Fun with Hackley: Axe Murderer" in early 2016 - look for it at festivals soon!
